Profile
We are looking for a Senior Fashion Designer Womenswear ( full-time ) for our creative team
Do you breathe 'Fashion', do you have an affinity with the identity of Colourful Rebel, strong technical knowledge of fabrics, trims and sizing? Do you have knowledge and experience with various product groups and do you know how to effortlessly translate trends and concepts into commercial and innovative collections?
Then we are looking for you!

As Senior Fashion Designer Womenswear you are responsible for creating concepts, collecting, designing and developing the 8 womenswear collections per year. You work closely with the Buying and Development team, Graphic Design and report back to the Art Director.
This job is extra challenging because you design in the 'total picture' and work on the following product groups; woven, (non) denim, outerwear, sweat, jersey and knitswear.
You work structured and accurate, think ahead and make well-considered choices with the aim of taking the collection and CR to a higher level. In addition, you think about variations on bestsellers and new potential successes.
You have a commercial focus and ensure innovation within the set frameworks.

 

Job duties

• Spotting trends and being able to translate them into concepts in accordance with brand identity.
• Designing and developing the womenswear collections using techpacks in Illustrator.
• Outsourcing and development for new fabrics, trims or fits.
• Visiting suppliers and selecting samples/new fabrics.
• Conducting shopping and sourcing trips.
• Conducting proto meetings, prototypes and processing adjustments thereof in tech packs, overviews.
• Present collections and substantiate them to the MT
• Maintaining an overview during the entire development process and being able to quickly switch and solve problems.
• Keeping track of and meeting the set deadlines

To demand

• 6-9 years of experience as a Designer in the mid/high segment
• Full-time availability
• Strong technical product knowledge and experience with the full Adobe package
• Accurate within your designs as well as product-technically
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, in both Dutch and English
• Team player; you know how to convince, motivate and inspire colleagues;
• Stress-resistant, has no trouble with deadlines and thinks in terms of problem solving.
• Energetic and driven: you look for challenges in your work
• You enjoy working in a busy and dynamic environment
